Grand Master Mason attended as guest of Honour at the Melbourne Tartan Festival Gala Dinner
The Grand Master Mason, Brother Dr Joseph J Morrow, was the Guest of Honour at the Melbourne Tartan Festival Gala Dinner on Saturday, July 20th in Melbourne Town Hall.
The Dinner, the main event of the month-long festival, is part of a spectacular annual celebration of Scottish heritage and culture.
There were around 350 at the sold-out event, many of them Brethren from the Grand Lodge of Victoria.
After being piped into the Town hall, they enjoyed welcome drinks & canapés, followed by a gourmet dinner with fine wines, a traditional Haggis ceremony and dancing to internationally acclaimed Celtic rock band Claymore.
The festival is part of an ongoing programme to support the promotion of Scottish music, dance, literature and performing arts in all its forms.
