Grand Master Mason received at Parliament House, Melbourne

The Grand Master Mason, Brother Dr Joseph J Morrow, was received on 23rd July at Parliament House, Melbourne by the Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Gardener AC.

Brother Morrow had accepted an invitation from the Victorian Scottish Heritage Cultural Foundation to be Guest of Honour during the last week of the Melbourne Tartan Festival from 20th-28th July.

While there the GMM presented a new coat of arms to Ian Young of Melbourne, in his capacity as Lord Lyon.

A gala dinner to celebrate his arrival included an Address to the Haggis by Brother Alan Beck, Past Master of Lodge Greenock Kilwinning Number 12, who is the Immediate Past President of the Robert Burns World Federation.
